Modelled and developed in this thesis is a 2-Dimensional Part Programming System for milling operation. 2-dimensional CL-data output and its graphic verification can be done in this system.
Part Programming System means a system which, from an input part-program ,can generate its CL-data and can output NC-tape. To construct Part Programming System , part-program language should be defined and its processing modules and data verification modules must be programmed.
Post-processing modules, which modify the output CL-data to fit for a specific m/c, should be included to get an NC-tape from the output CL-data.
In this system, a simple part programming language is designed for the convenience of using and the entire program is composed of 3 modules, geometry-processing module, motion processing module and post processing module, to make it easy to modify and to add application programs.
This system is implemented using FORTRAN 77 and BASIC programming language on an IBM-PC and can be used on its compatible PC's.
