In order to increase intelligence of robot system by man-machine interface, a voice recognition System which has capability of human language recognition for robot system is developed. The voice recognition algorithm use fast Walsh-Hadamard orthogonal transform and the concept of representative sample value is introduced for high speed operation and low memory size.
Also, weighted chebyshev distance measure for easy computation of distance is used.
And command structure with hierarchical group structure which is adequate for robot voice commands is proposed and implemented. This algorithm is implements for robot system application satisfying real time processing, reliability, low cost and easy implementation, and proved to have good recognition rate at noisy environment.
