Today many organizations have growing attention to organizational climate, for organizational climate influences the behavior of theirs members, which in turn influences organizational effectiveness.
The objectives of this study are to examine organizational climate differences between production department, R & D department and sales department and to examine the relationship between organizational climate and organizational effectiveness variables (confirmity, organizational adaptiveness, sales growth rate) in 22 electronics manufacturing organizations.
Research results show that there is no significant difference between three departments and that organizational climate is more related to confirmity and organizational adaptiveness than sales growth rate and that autonomy and trust and support are strongly related to confirmity and organizational adaptiveness.
Better organizational climate questionnaire and more useful effectiveness criterion development are required to bring forth fruitful future research.
