This thesis is concerned with a periodic replacement policy with a minimal repair cost limit. Replacement policies with minimal repair have been proposed under the assumption of a constant minimal repair cost. In real situations, however, the cost varies randomly. Thus a periodic replacement with a minimal repair cost limit is proposed. When a system is to be repaired, it is first inspected and the repair cost is estimated. Minimal repair is then undertaken if the estimated cost is less than a predetermined minimal repair cost limit L. Otherwise, the system is replaced Replacement is also made if the system fails for the first time after age T.
The average cost rate is used as a criterion and its behaviors are examined.
Numerical comparison with other replacement policies is also made under the assumptions that the time to failure follows a weibull distribution and repair cost an exponential distribution and the proposed policy turned out to be superior to existing replacement policies with minimal repair.
본 연구에서는 응급 수리 비용 한계를 고려한 정기 보수 정책에 관해 다루고 있다. 이제까지 연구되어 온 응급수리를 수행하는 보수 정책 들에서는 응급 수리 비용을 상수로 가정하여 왔다. 그러나 실제 현실 상황에서는 그 비용이 다양하게 변화하는 변수일 경우가 대부분 이다.
그러므로 기존의 정기 보수정책에 변화하는 응급 수리 비용의 크기에 의한 보수를 고려하자는 것이 본 연구의 주안점이다. 시스템이 고장났을 때 먼저 검사에 의해 수리비용이 추정되고, 그 비용이 미리 주어진 응급 수리비용 한계보다 적으면 응급 수리가 수행된다. 그렇지 않으면 보수가 행해진다. 또 만일 시스템이 일정 수명까지 작동 되어 왔다면 이후 처음 발생한 고장시 보수가 행해진다. 제시되는 정책에서는 응급 수리 비용한계와 시스템 보수 주기가 결정 변수이다.
시스템의 고장분포가 와이블 분포이고 응급 수리 비용의 분포가 지수분포일 경우에 지금까지 제시되어온 응급 수리를 고려한 보수정책들과 비교하였다.
