This thesis deals with an optimal replacement policy of a shock-protective device attached to a main system under the assumptions that shocks follow a Poisson process with a shock-arrival intensity rate α and the shock-protective device has an exponential failure distribution with parameter λ.
The main system has the property that it can be protected from shocks by the protective device with the probability 1-p(0≤p≤1). However the main system can fail due to certain shocks either causing the simultaneous failure of the protective device or occurring during the time interval from a device failure time point to the immediately following inspection point.
Given a periodic-inspection schedule with a fixed inspection interval L, the number of periodic inspections, say n, has to be controlled to give an optimal $n^{\ast}$ with which the system maintenance cost is minimized.
Under the assumptions that both the inspection and replacement costs of the protective device are constant and the main system repair cost is linearly increasing in time, a sufficient condition for a unique optimal value $n^{\ast}$ is clarified.
본 연구에서는 시스템에 오는 충격이 Poisson 과정을 따르고 지수고장분포를 가진 보호장치가 주기적 점검을 받을 때 보호장치의 교체방안에 대해서 다루고 있다. 보호장치가 정상이면 충격을 1 - P( 0≤P≤1 )의 확률로 방지하고 고장일 때는 충격이 발생하기만 하면 시스템이 고장이 난다. 이 때 다음과 같은 교체방안-n번째 점검시점까지 보호장치가 고장이 안나면 그 시점에서 보호장치를 교체한다. -하에서 장기적으로 단위시간당 드는 시스템 유지비용이 가장 적게 드는 $n^{\ast}$를 구했다.
