This thesis is composed of two parts. First, techniques for implementing geometric corrections are described and the results of image processing experiments are presented. The techniques include methods for reference-control point, digitally mosaiking multiple scenes and extracting information. As application of the techniques, image map of Seoul vicinity in specific map projection is constructed.
Second, Graph Theoretic Iterative Self-Organizing Data Analysis Techniques Algorithm (G-ISODATA), which is composed of a graph theoretic clustering algorithm and lterative Self-Organizing Data Analysis Techniques Algorithm(ISODATA), is proposed.
The first algorithm compensates the disadvantages of the others, and it takes less computing time.
