This thesis describes the design and implementation of the automatic routing system which automatically lays out a two-sided printed circuit board.
The system that we developed consists of a board description language, an interpreter, a routing algorithm and a line drawing routine. The routing algorithm is based on Lee's algorithm, with some significant modification.
Experimental results show that the system performs satisfactorily for a medium sized digital board, with high density, using bit-slice microprocessors.
본 논문에서는 양면 PC board의 layout을 자동화하는 시스템을 설계하고 그래픽 터미날과 digitizer를 이용한 입력 방법의 문제점을 해결 하고 설계자가 쉽게 board에 관한 정보를 입력할 수 있게 하기위해 Board Description Language를 개발했으며, Routing 알고리즘은 본 시스템의 특성에 맞게 Lee 알고리즘을 개선하여 제안하였다.
Routing 결과는 실제 board와 같은 크기로 plotter에 그릴 수 있게 했다.
