A high level language computer architecture has been proposed as an alternative to the conventional computer architecture and software systems.
MIDEX, which directly executes a high level simulation language, MIMIC, is proposed in this thesis. MIDEX is designed and implemented with multiple processor configuration consisting of a lexical processor, an execution processor, an I/O processor, and a control processor.
Some design consideration is given, for efficient processing of HLL MIMIC including lexical processing. Another consideration for multi-user system is proposed.
본 논문에서는 고급 simulation 언어인 MIMIC을 직접 수행하는 고급 언어 컴퓨터 구조 시스템을 제안하였다.
이 시스템은 다중프로세서 구성방식으로, LEXICAL 프로세서가 MIMIC 프로그램을 내부코드로 변환 시켜주고 그것을 EXECUTION 프로세서가 수행하여 그 결과를 I/O프로세서로 보내주어 출력시키는 scheme을 갖고 있다.
고급언어인 MIMIC을 효과적으로 수행하기 위해서, LEXICAL 프로세서를 포함한 하드웨어들이 설계되었다. 또한 복수사용자시스템을 위한 구조들이 제안되었다.
