This thesis is to measure the stress concentration factor and the stress distribution in Honeycomb Sandwich plate with circular hole under four point bending by photoelastic coating technique.
The stress concentration factor is measured with varying of the ratios of diameter to thickness, diameter to width and length to width. The fringe order and the principal direction are measured along x-axis, and y-axis, the stress distribution is calculated by shear difference method.
The results of the measurement are equal to the effect of axial force than the effect of bending.
