The Control Software and the attendant console are developed and implemented for an experimental integrated voice/data PBX system. The general integrated voice/data switching systems are biefly overviewed, and the overall structure and the characteristics of an experimental integrated voice/data PBX system are described.
The current trend and status of switching control software is discussed. The call processing software is organized by call division method which is flexible, expandable and efficient. The program structure is given and explained in block by block. The attendant console receives a trunk call and provides a connection path between the trunk and a subscriber of PBX system. The circuit and function of the attendant console is explained in detail.
