A part of an experimental PCM PBX system is designed and developed for voice and data switching. They are subscriber Line Card (SLC), Trunk Line Card (TLC), Time slot Interchanger (TSI) and digital tone generator.
The system is an integrated switching system for 192 subcribers of telephones and asynchronous data terminals of different date rate. It has a central processor and a TSI switch, and data terminals are connected with four wires. The voice/data bits are parallely processed as 8/10 bits sample/character within the switching network.
The SLC unit has a special feature of floating better feeding for less power consumption and the TSI is consisted of two memories for data and address. The Tone generator is designed to provide 8 tone signals with 400 stored samples for each tone. System structure and experimental results are discussed in detail.
음성 및 data동시교환을 위한 PBX system의 한부분인 interface 회로와 Time-switch 그리고 digital tone발생기가 연구 설계되었다.
본 system은 전화가입자와 상이한 data rate의 asynchronous data terminal들을 합하여 총 192가입자를 수용할 수 있다.
각 Data terminal들은 switching center에 4wire로 연결되어 있으며 한개의 중앙 processor와 한개의 time-switch에 의해 교환이 이루어 진다.
모든 음성 및 data들은 switching center내에서, 음성인 경우 8bit로, data인 경우 10bit로 모두 perallel로 처리된다.
SLC는 저전력소모 및 space절약을 위한, floating battery feeding의 특수한 형태를 갖추고 있으며 TSI는 highway상의 data와 각 가입자의 번호를 저장할 수 있는 2개의 read/write memory로 구성되었다.
Tone generator는 각 tone에 대해 400개의 sample을 가진 8개의 tone을 공급할 수 있도록 설계 구성되었다.
