We want to develop a system that converts the regular television signal to 1MHz video signal, which is known to be adequate for a face-to-face visual communication. The new video signal has 262.5 lines per picture frame, and its resolution is half of the original TV signal in both vertical and horizontal directions.
The features of this system are firstly that only two analog shift registers carry out the conversion. Secondly, the conversion ratio is a simple integer. Hence, the adaptation between the TV system and the new scanning system is simple, and the interpolation coefficients are constant during a whole field period.
The conversion system is implemented, and experimental results are discussed in detail.
본 논문에서는 TV 신호를 visual communication에 적합한 1MHz의 영상신호로 변환할 수 있는 시스템을 만들고자 한다. 영상신호는 picture frame 당 262.5 line을 갖고 수직, 수평방향으로 각각 TV신호의 만의 해상도를 가진다.
이 시스템의 특징을 첫째 두 개의 analog shift register로 변환이 가능하고 변환비가 간단한 정수이다. 따라서 TV시스템과 adaptational이 쉽다.
Implementation과 그것에서 얻어진 결과가 주어졌다.
