When studying exoskeletons, the use of a low-pass filter is considered to be essential, but few studies have examined this. Low-pass filters when used in actual exoskeleton exercises significantly influence the torque exerted by the exoskeleton. Occasionally, the low-pass filter has a greater effect than the main algorithm of the exoskeleton. The present study proposes a time-varying jerk filter that decreases the non-passive form of torque resulting from a time delay. This filter minimizes the divergence of the exoskeleton by guaranteeing the non-passive form of torque up to a specific torque threshold. At the same time, the time-varying jerk filter maximizes the magnitude of the assist torque of the exoskeleton. Therefore, the exoskeleton can work in the same way originally intended by the algorithm. The time-varying jerk filter is applied a lower limb exoskeleton using a sensitivity amplification method and is shown to perform successfully.
외골격로봇 연구에 있어 로우패스 필터를 사용하는 것은 필수적이다. 하지만 외골격로봇연구에 있어 외골격로봇에 사용되는 필터에 대한 언급은 거의 없다. 로우패스 필터는 실제로 외골격로봇을 작동시킬 때 외골격로봇이 사람에게 보조해주는 토크에 막대한 영향을 주며 때때로 메인 알고리즘 보다 더 큰 영향을 주는 경우도 있다. 본 논문은 time delay에 의해 발생하는 non-passive form torque를 줄여주는 time-varying jerk filter를 제안하였다. 이 time-varying jerk filter는 non-passive form torque를 특정 토크 기준 이하로 유지하여 외골격로봇의 발산을 최소화 해주며, 동시에 외골격로봇의 보조토크를 의도했던 크기에 최대한 가깝게 유지시켜준다. 따라서 외골격로봇은 처음에 의도 했던 알고리즘대로 움직일 수 있다. time-varying jerk filter는 민감도 증폭방법을 사용하는 하체 외골격로봇에 적용되었으며 성공적으로 작동하는 것을 확인하였다.
