IT companies are interested in improvement of efficient and effective productivity continuously because they have to lead rapid changes in the marketplace. And the success of their project is very important and directly related to their profit. Therefore, they should improve task performance and try to take advantage of groupware such like collaborative project management tools(CPMT). There are various studies about factors of the task performance and also about impact of groupware or collaborative software. But the relevant literatures are almost studied through questionnaires or interviews. The object of this study is to demonstrate the factors of task performance with the actual data of collaborative project management tool that has been used and accumulated in a company. This study identified the performance-related factors from the relevant literature and then found the factors from system data. The factors are task participation, job autonomy, clear task and time constraints. This study examines if the four factors affect task performance and if the task participation which is the factor of collaboration has the effect of adjustment for other factors. The results indicate that each of the four factors has positive influence on the task performance. However the adjustment effect of task participation for the other factors has positive influence only in case of clear task.
IT기업은 시장에서의 빠른 변화를 선도해야하기 때문에 효율적이고 효과적인 생산성 향상에 지속적으로 관심을 가진다. 또한 IT기업의 프로젝트의 성공은 매우 중요하며 프로젝트 성공은 기업의 이익과 직결되기 때문에, 그들은 업무성과를 증진시키기 위해 노력하고 협업 프로젝트 관리 도구와 같은 그룹웨어를 도입함으로서 생산성 향상을 도모하고 있다. 기존에 업무성과에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구와 그룹웨어나 협업 소프트웨어의 효과에 관한 연구도 많지만 대부분 연구들이 설문이나 인터뷰에 의해 이루어지고 정보화된 데이터를 통한 실증 연구는 찾아보기 어렵다. 따라서 본 연구의 목적은 실제로 기업에서 사용되고 축적된 협업 프로젝트 관리 도구의 데이터를 통해 업무 성과 요인을 실증하는 것이다. 선행연구로부터 작업 참여, 직무자율성, 명확한 작업, 그리고 시간제약을 업무성과에 영향을 미치는 요인으로 식별하고 또한 해당 요인을 시스템 데이터로부터 연관성을 도출하여 추출하였다. 이를 통해 각각의 요인들이 실제로 업무성과에 영향을 미치는지 분석하고, 또한 협업에 관한 요인이라 할 수 있는 작업 참여가 다른 요인들에 대해 조절 효과를 나타내는지 분석하였다. 연구 결과 각각의 모든 요인들은 업무성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 작업 참여는 명확한 작업에서만 긍적적인 조절 효과을 보이는 것으로 나타났다.
