A simple fault detection and recovery scheme is investigated for an experimental Private Branch Exchange(PBX) system.
The PBX system is a stored-program controlled PCM switching system with a Time-Space-Time switching network.
To prevent some faulty operation, the main system clocks and the clock for the call processing are duplicated. The fault detection and fault recovery of these clocks are investigated. Also, the faulty states of the CODEC outputs and of the transmission highways are detected.
When a fault is detected, the fault status is displayed on a fault status panel and a maintenance man can get some simple information about the fault and error with a diagnosis console.
연구 실험용 PBX 시스템을 위한 간단한 fault 검출과 recovery 방법이 연구되었다. 이 PBX 시스템은 축적 프로그램 제어 방식의 PCM 교환장치이며, Time-Space-Time (TST)의 switching network로 구성되어 있다.
System의 오동작을 방지하기 위해 전체 시스템 clock과 call process program을 주기적으로 기동시키는 interrupt용 clock을 2중화 시켰다. 이들 clock의 fault의 검출과 자동적인 recovery 방법을 연구 실험하였다. 또한 CODEC의 출력과 transmission highway의 상태에 대한 fault의 검출방식을 구성하였다.
장해가 검출되면 fault status panel로 장해 상황이 나타나며, diagnosis console을 통해 시스템의 fault와 error에 관한 간단한 자료를 얻을 수 있도록 하였다.
