With the adaptation of Graphics software (Plot Package) to Cromemco microcomputer system and Printronix 300 line matrix printer, the author enabled many kinds of graphs to be plotted by running the user callable subroutine.
By implementing the plot processor in the line printer, the processing time is decreased through overlapped processing between the host computer (Cromemco System) and the slave computer (Plot Processor).
The implementation of Hangul to the above-mentioned Graphics system makes it possible to arbitrarily change the type of the character, i.e., size, thickness, rotation, etc., and in spite of the small number of data base of Hangul, the shape of the character appears to be considerably good.
Graphics software 를 Cromemco system 과 line matrix printer 에 연결하여 user callable subroutine 으로 program 을 수행하여 여러가지 형태의 도형을 plot할 수 있도록 하였으며 또한 line printer 내에 plot processor 를 두어 host computer 와 slave computer 간의 overlapped processing 으로 processing time 을 절약하였다.
그리고 이와 같은 Graphics subsystem 에 한글을 implementation 하여 한글의 크기, 굵기, 회전등 형태를 임의로 변화시킬 수 있었고 한글의 기본 data base의 수를 적게 잡아 주어도 한글의 글씨모양을 상당히 좋게 할 수 있었다.
