The equations describing the density variation of the ion and the electron in the inhomogeneous and collisional plasma are obtained.
The dispersion relations are obtained and the mode coupling equations between the waves satisfying the dispersion relation are derived.
The mode couplings are associated with the drift waves with long wave length ($k_{\bot} \rho_i$ ≪ 1) and the 3 dimensional convective modes defined in this thesis.
From the mode couplings, a nonlinear mechanism for the excitation of the 3 dimensional convective mode through the decay of a monochromatic drift wave is analyzed.
Further analysis is also given for the generation of the convective modes by the long wavelength drift wave.
A qualitative analysis is also made of the shear stabilization effect.
플라스마 입자들의 분포가 불균일하고 입자간의 충돌이 큰 플라스마에서 ion과 전자들의 밀도 변화를 기술하는 방정식을 얻었다.
얻어진 방정식에서 분산방정식을 얻었고 분산방정식을 만족하는 파(wave)들 사이의 mode coupling 방정식을 얻었다.
Mode coupling은 긴 파장 $(k_{\bot} \rho_i$ ≪ 1)을 가진 drift wave 와 이 논문에서 정의된 3차원적인 convective mode 사이에서 일어난다.
Mode coupling 방정식에서, 3차원적인 convective mode가 drift wave의 소멸로써 비 선형적으로 발생하는 것을 분석하였다.
또한 2차원에서 drift wave에 의해 convective mode가 발생되는 것도 설명되어 있다.
그리고 magnetic shear가 있을 때 convective mode에 끼치는 영향을 정성적으로 분석하였다.
