This thesis attempts to develop a model for the effect of pace on inspector error in the paced visual inspection task.
Previous studies show that there exist two distinct regions of pace-- 1) a slower pace region in which pace has least effect on inspector error and 2) the other region in which pace has direct effect on it. In this thesis a linear model is proposed for describing the pace-error relationship in the latter region. An experiment is designed for the evaluation of the model. The results of this experiment and those of others are utilized in analyzing the appropriateness of the model.
Application of the model to the inspection manpower planning is also discussed. A formula for determining the number of inspectors which minimize the related cost is derived.
본 연구는 정속시관검사작업에서 검사속도와 검사원의 과오의 관계를 기술하는 모형을 개발하는 것이 목적이다.
기존의 연구를 통해서 본 연구는 검사속도에는 그가 직접적으로 과오에 영향을 주는 영역과 과오에 거의 영향을 주지 않는 영역이 있다는 것을 발견하고, 전자의 영역에 있어서 검사속도와 과오의 관계를 선형 모형으로 기술할 수 있다는 것을 보였다.
모형의 적합성 분석은 본 연구가 설계한 실험의 자료와 기존 연구의 실험 결과에 대해 행했다.
모형을 또한 검사인력계획 문제에 응용하여 주어진 양의 제품을 검사하기 위한 검사원수를 최소비용의 관점에서 구할 수 있는 공식을 유도 그 응용력을 보였다.
