This thesis presents an improved layout of each of three existing general hospitals with the objective of minimizing the total distance travelled by out-patients in the Central and the Out-patient clinic and also develops an area allocation of general hospital, 500 beds in size.
During the course of study an heuristic solution procedure of the quadratic assignment problem, Ranking procedure, is developed which can handle the situation where not all of facilities have the same size of area and is found more efficient than two other existing heuristic procedures from results of computational experience.
The area allocation presented here which can be used as a guide for the planning of new hospitals is obtained through the following steps:
1) preparation of the Combined Relationship Chart considering the patients' flow and other-than-flow
2) construction of the initial layout by CORELAP (Computerized relationship Layout Planning) and improvement made by CRAFT (Computerized Relative Allocation of Facilities Technique)
3) attainment of the final layout improved by the Ranking procedure
본 연구는 3개의 기존 종합병원을 대상으로 외래ㆍ중앙진찰부에서의 외래환자의 총동선을 단축시킬 수 있는 개선된 배치안을 제시하며, 또한 500병동을 갖는 반상종합병원의 적정부문 배치안을 제안하는데 그 목적이 있다.
그리고 설비들의 면적이 동일하지 않는 경우도 해결할 수 있는 QAP의 발견적 해법인 순위해법을 제시하였으며, 이 해법이 기존의 두 해법보다 효율적임을 계산결과의 비교로써 나타내었다.
신축병원의 설계에 참고가 될 수 있는 적정부문배치안을 다음과 같은 과정에 의하여 완성하였다.
1) 환자의 흐름과 흐름이외의 사항을 함께 고려한 결합관계도표의 작성
2) CORELAP에 의한 초기배치안의 구성과 CRAFT에 의한 이의 개선
3) 순위해법에 의한 최종배치안의 도출
