Diffraction by a narrow slit in an infinite conducting plane is analyzed in the case of an arbitrary incident angle using the concept of an equivalent magnetic current in the slit.
The magnetic current satisfying the boundary condition is obtained to the first order approximation in the ratio of the slit width to the wavelength. Then using the perturbation method higher order terms can be calculated and terms are obtained up to the third order here.
Transmission coefficient defined as the ratio of transmitted power to incident power is also given.
파장에 비해 폭이 좁은 Slit 이 무한 도체 평판 위에 있을 때 임의의 각도로 입사하는 평면파가 그것에 의해 회절하는 현상을 분석하였다.
그 분석의 기초작업으로 Slit 위의 자기 전류(magnetic current )를 구하는데 근사식을 써서 $\frac{2πa}{λ}$의 3차항 까지 구했다.
그리고 구한 자기 전류를 써서 전달계수(Slit 을 통해 빠져나간 Power 와 평면파의 진행방향에 수직한 면에 투영된 Slit 에 입사하는 Power 의 비 )를 구하여 도표로 표시하였다.
