This thesis presents a computer aided heuristic model for balancing a paced single product assenbly line moving with conveyor belt.
The model is developed on the assumption that each work element is independently and normally distributed. A simple deterministic approach is used as a basis and considers the variability of work element time using utilized cycle time.
Since equal station time does not necessarilly mean equal work load in practice. The upper limit of permissible idle time for each station is established and backward approach is applied to assign work load as equally as possible among work stations.
Backtracking is applied to reduce the computing time. To evaluate the balances which have the same total idle time, second criteria which counts the number of violation is provided to lead work load equally.
As compared to the arcus method, this new heuristic method produces the same solution and furthermore reduces the computing time by more than 20% on the average.
本 論文은 Conveyor belt로 移動되는 Paced single Model組立 라인의 均衡化를 爲해 Computer를 利用한 發見的 方法을 提示하고 있다.
本 發見的 方法은 作業要所 遂行時間들은 相互獨立 이고 正規分布에 따른 다는 假定下에 이루어 졌으며 確率的 方法과 確定的 方法의 相互弱點을 補完하고자, 보다 簡便하고 效率的인 것으로 評價된 確定的 接近方法을 基礎로 하였고, 活用될 週期時間을 使用하여 作業要所時間이 可變性을 考慮하였다.
均等한 作業台時間의 賦與는 實際로 반드시 均等한 作業負荷를 意味하지는 않는다. 따라서 모든 作業台의 作業負荷를 均等히 誘導할수 있는 作業台時間을 割當하고자 各 作業台에 賦與될 遊休時間의 許容上限線을 設定하고 逆進的 接近方法을 適用하였다.
計算時間을 短縮 시키기 위해 作業台別 逆追跡을 實施하였으며 全體 遊休時間이 同一한 라인 均衡을 評價할 수 있는 2次基準을 選定하였다. Arcus 方法에 比해 새로운 發見的 方法은 完全均 可能한 境遇 同一한 解를 얻으며 平均 20%以上의 計算時間을 短縮시킬 수 있었다.
