As the production system is growing large-scale and complicate, reasonable and consistent decision-making methods are required for work-force, production and inventory control in the production management.
Analytic models have considerable difficulties in modelling without destroying the real world factors, and in applying the production system to real world problem from macroscopic and local viewpoint.
In this respect, this thesis attempts to approach real world problems utilizing the microscopic simulation model for aggregate production system.
This study has primary meaning that production system simulator was introduced to study our real world problem in Korean production system.
It is used as a research vehicle for investigating various aspects of control theory for production systems.
The drawbacks, merits, and applicable areas were clearly suggested and utilization effect was demonstrated by a case study. Model utilization method is provided at appendix IV for easy application for users.
Furthermore, this model can be used as a pedagogical device, by providing student with the opportunity in experiencing hypothetical case in designing and analysis for control function in production system.

오늘날 생산체계가 대규모화되고 복잡해짐에 따라, 생산관리에 있어서 인력, 생산 및 재고등에 관한 합리적이고 일관성있는 의사 결정 방법이 요구되고 있다. 그러나 해석적모형은 다양한 생산체계를 거시적 또는 국시적인 관점에서 다루어 실제 문제에 적용하는데 상당한 애로가 있다.
본 논문에서는 이러한 관점에서 전체 생산체계의 미시적 모의 실험 모형을 이용하여 실제 생산관리 문제에 접근을 시도하고 있다. 본 연구는 미국등지에서 높은 사용효과를 거두고 있는 모의 실험 모형을 한국의 생산체계에 도입, 한국실정에 적합하게 전환하였다는 점에서 일차적 의의를 가지며 본 모형의 제약점, 장점, 및 이용도등을 명시하고 기업 실정에 맞도록 전환한 모형을 실제 사례에 적용함으로써, 그 이용효과를 예시하고 또 부록에 모형의 편람을 첨가하여 누구나 이 모형을 사용할 수 있도록 하였다.
그 밖에 본 모형은 교육목적에 의한 사용효과를 크게 기대할 수 있는데 피교육자에게 생산체계에 있어서의 관리 기능의 설계 및 분석을 가상적으로 체험할 수 있는 기회를 제공하여 피교육자의 생산관리 체계에 대한 친숙도를 고조시키는 효과뿐 아니라 피이드백을 통한 체계 개선을 가능하게 한다. 본 논문에서는 모의 실험 모형을 이용한 생산관리체계의 개발에 역점을 두었다.
