An Automatic Telephone Line Testing System has been designed and implemented to provide means for making rapid and accurate transmission measurement on telephone trunks using micro-processor.
The system consists of a Central Unit and Remote Unit. All measurement sequences are under command of the Central Unit, once system starts.
Thus, attenuation and cross-talk of telephone trunks are automatically measured and recorded. Chap 2 is devoted to instrumentation system, and Chap 3 describes the prior result of Bell Laboratory. In Chap 4, 5 and 6, system hardwares and associated softwares are briefly discussed.
This system is only prototype and has some problems in actual application.
본 시스템은 micro-processor 를 이용하여 telephone trunk 의 특성을 빠른 속도로 측정 기록함을 그 목적으로 한다. 전체 시스템은 중앙국과 지방국으로 구성되며, 일단 start 되면 모든 측정은 중앙국에 의하여 자동적으로 이루어진다. 이렇게 하여 선로의 감쇄특성과 누화특성의 자동측정이 이루어 진다.
Chap 2 는 instrumentation system 에 대해서 Chap 3 는 앞선 연구결과에 대해 간략히 설명하고 있다.
Chap4,5,6 에서 시스템의 hardware 와 software 를 서술하였다.
본 시스템은 실제 응용상 많은 문제를 내재하고 있으나 일단, 그 가능성을 보였다는데 의의를 둔다.
