A monomer was synthesized from Dinitro compound having three types of aliphatic groups by Schotten-Baumann Method and reduced under high pressure of hydrogen. Diamine(reduced Monomr) with Diacidchloride having 4, 6 or 8 methylene groups was polymerized at low Temperature. Their thermal properties as well as mesophasic behaviors were investigated by using differential Scanning Calorimetry and cross polarized microscope. Rheological properties were obtained by using RDS II(Rheometrics Dynamics Spectrometer). ABP-3-6 and ABP-3-8 showed smectic form, among these polymers, ABP-3-4 showed a little bit of nematic textures. All polymer had strong shear thinning phenomena at each temperature and depended on temperature. The measured viscoelastic parameter such as storage modulus loss modulus were known to be affected the temperature and flexible spacer. As the flexible spacers became longer, partial agreement appeared in ABP-3-8 than ABP-3-4 and ABP-3-6.
