The influences of fuzzy implication operators and connective also are analyzed in the case of elevator group supervisory system. A group supervisory control system performs operation of multiple elevators, and its most basic function is to assign an appropriate elevator to a given hall call.
To analyze the implication operators, a simulation system is built which controls the elevator group by using experts' knowledge in fuzzy rule-base. In this system we simulate an up-peak traffic and experiment on several typical fuzzy implication operators for comparison. When a new hall call is generated, the elevator to be assigned to the hall call is determined by fuzzy inference using fuzzy implication operator. The operators are compared by measuring the performances such as average waiting time, 5 min. Handling capacity, and probability of waiting over 60 seconds. The Mamdani operator and max operator are determined to be the best for the implication and also connective respectively in the elevator group system.
