To observe the nonlinear dynamics of the polarization fluctuation in a ferroelectric material $KH_2PO_4$ in response to forced periodic force, we made use of a simple electrical R - L - (KDP) circuit.
Theoretical approach was attempted to explain the nonlinearity of this KDP circuit from the numerical simulation work based on the Inverted Duffing Oscillator Model associated with the nonlinear Landau thermodynamic potential.
Experimental observations of the polarization response in KDP crystal to periodic applied force seem to the Hopf - and Feigenbaum - type transition route to chaos as the experimental control parameter is varied. The stretching and folding of the characteristic properties in a strange attractor were also exhibited.
