In morden telephone exchanges, subscriber lines are usually connected to the so-called subscriber line modules. These modules serve both incoming and outgoing calls. An important difference between these two types of calls lies in the fact that in the case of blocking due to all channels busy in the module, outgoing calls can be queued whereas incoming calls get busy signal and must be retry in order to establish the connection.
In this thesis, we study the model which takes into account incoming calls' retrials and find the joint distribution of the number of outgoing calls and incoming calls, special cases are treated.
현재의 전화교환에서, 가입자전화선은 종종 subscriber line modules에 연결되어 있다. 이러한 modules는 외부전화와 내부전화를 교환한다. 이러한 두가지 형태의 전화의 중요한 차이점은 전화가 통화중일 때 외부전화는 대기상태에 있고 내부전화는 연결을 위해서 재시도 하여야만 한다.
이 논문에서는 이러한 내부전화가 재시도를 하는 model를 연구하여 외부전화와 내부전화의 수에 대한 동시확률분포를 구하였으며, 이 model의 특별한 경우를 다루었다.
