During the course of study on the biological active compound from Ligia exotica, various nucleic acids such as guanosine, deoxyguanosine, inosine, deoxyinosine, and 3'-O-glucosyl-inosine have been isolated as a new inosine nucleic acid derivative. The new nucleic acid was purified from fraction 8 of Sephadex G10 chromatogram(L. exotica) by high press liquid chromatography on GS 320 and ODS column.
In order to determine the structure of the compound, which was isolated from L. exotica, its $^1H$ NMR and $^{13}C$ NMR were compared with those from 5'-O-glucosyl-inosine and 3'-O-galactosyl-inosine. Chemical synthesis and enzymatic formation of 3'-O-galactosyl-inosine is being studied.
갯강구로부터 생리 활성 물질에 관한 연구를 계속하던 중 구아노신 , 디옥시구아노신, 이노신, 디옥시이노신과 같은 여러가지 핵산들과 새로운 이노신 핵산 유도체인 3'- O-글루코실 이노신이 분리되었다. 이 새로운 핵산은 세파덱스 G10 크로마토그램 (갯강구)의 8 부분을 GS 320 과 ODS 컬럼을 이용하여 고압 분취 액체 크로마토그래피로서 순수하게 분리하였다.
구조를 규명하기 위하여 갯강구로부터 분리된 그 화합물의 $^1H$ 와 $^{13}C$ NMR 스펙트럼을 5'-O-글루코실 이노신과 3'-O-갈락토실 이노신과 비교하였다. 3'-O-글루코실 이노신에 대한 화학적 합성과 효소에 의한 합성이 연구되어지고 있다.
