As CoP is a driver of knowledge sharing and exchange, many company have interested in the function of CoP. Because of importance of team based learning organization, the role of the CoP is considered to be very important for corporation’s sustainable advantage in industry environment. Therefore, We focused on the roles of CoP in company and knowledge management activities in CoP. Especially, through the relationship between social capital and knowledge management activity in CoP, we will find what contribute to vitalization of CoP’s knowledge management activities. Although there are many knowledge management activities in knowledge management field, We primarily interested in knowledge integration in CoP. Because it is very adaptable knowledge management activity in CoP as considering the trait of CoP, Voluntary, democratic and diverse. This research will contribute to knowledge management field by suggesting the function of CoP based social capital to knowledge integration in CoP.
CoP는 지식공유와 지식교환을 유도하는 역할을 수행한다는 측면에서 많은 기업들이 관심을 가져왔다. 팀 단위 조직학습이 산업환경에서 기업의 지속가능한 이익을 위해 중요한다는 측면에서 CoP의 역할은 매우 중요하게 여겨진다. 그러므로 본 논문에서는 기업에서 CoP의 역할과 CoP의 지식경영활동에 대해 연구하였다. 결과적으로 본 연구에서는 CoP의 사회적자본과 지식경영활동과의 관계를 통해서 어떤 요소들이 CoP의 지식경영활동을 활성화에 영향을 줄 수 있는지 살펴보았다. 기존의 지식경영분야에 많은 지식경영활동에 대한 연구들이 이루어져 왔지만 본 연구에서는 CoP의 지식통합활동에 주목하였다. CoP의 자발적이고 민주적이고 다양한 구성의 특성을 고려하였을 때, 지식통합이 CoP에서 이루어지는 가장 적합한 지식경영활동이기 때문이다. 본 연구는 지식경영분야에 CoP기반의 사회적 자본의 지식통합으로의 영향에 대해서 제시한다는 측면에서 의미가 있다고 볼 수 있다.
