If you go to a restaurant for lunch with a number of friends, you could have a favor or rejection to a specific person. The optimal entry position is the order of entering the restaurant to maximize the probability of sitting next to the person you like or to minimize the probability of sitting next to the person you dislike. This thesis shows the optimal entry position in some case. the cases is determined by the method of selecting s sitting location and the level of inside information of the restaurant. In the cases of probability calculation easy, we can find optimal entry position using the probability calculations. In the other cases, we can find optimal entry position using simulations. This problems can be utilized for various industry issues to consider favor or rejection for any target and should be extended to solving the problem of a wide range of cases.
우리가 여러 친구들과 식당에 밥을 먹으로 갈 때, 특정 한 친구에 대하여 선호 또는 기피하는 감정을 가질 수 있다. 최적의 입장 순서는 이런 상황에서 그 특정 사람에 대하여 옆자리에 앉게 될 확률이 가장 크게 되는 순서 또는 가장 적게 되는 순서를 말한다. 이 논문에서는 이 문제를 의자를 선택하는 방법의 종류와 입장 순서를 정하기 전 제공되는 정보의 수준에 따라 여러가지 케이스로 분류하여 해결하였다. 일부 케이스에 대해서는 분석적으로 확률을 계산하여 문제를 해결하였고 다른 케이스에 대해서는 시뮬레이션 이용하여 확률을 추정하여 문제를 해결했다. 이 문제는 향후 구성원들간의 위치에 따라 호, 불호가 분명하게 나뉘고, 그 위치를 입장하는 순서대로 정하게되는 모든 경우의 산업 문제에 대하여 적용할 수 있을 것이다.
