In the past, most works in wireless sensor networks concentrated on how efficiently a user gather sensed data from sensor networks. The Internet of Things (IoT) refers the networked interconnection of everyday objects. Although it is also described as wireless sensor networks, the concept focuses on how to interconnect all things through the Internet. Browsing Architecture for the Internet of Things is designed to solve the main problem over IoT using web access approach. Usually, web access approach in sensor networks is not recommended due to the overheads of TCP and HTTP protocols. But, most applications use TCP as transport protocol in the internet, and HTTP is familiar to users. In interconnection with the internet, those protocols thus have many advantages in terms of accessibility, compatibility, applicability. This paper addresses how to interconnect all things using TCP/HTTP protocols with reducing the overheads by the combination of network architecture design and header compression techniques. Browsing Architecture for the Internet of Things consists of four components: DDNS Server, Presentation Server, Gateway, Sensor Node. It supports mobility of sensors, rich user interface for presentation, interconnection among the internet and sensor networks, and REST web services. All of the functions are evaluated as the future infrastructure of the internet by implementing a test-bed which consists of real devices.
