Historical-Cultural Contents is the Cultural Contents about Korean history and culture. It is the digital content consists of Historical Information. Historical-Cultural Contents has been attracted attention as the material of Cultural Contents. However, it has been evaluated that it has problems in being applied practically.
To make Cultural Contents have industrial influence creative power, the digital-content producing process has to include Information phase and Knowledge phase. The current Historical-Cultural Contents has plenty of information- technological ability such as digitalization, expansion of metadata, and consolidation of searching function, but it lacks the ability to consider from the perspective of culture. The Knowledge phase which fused technology and culture is needed to improve the situation.
Cultural Contents are produced through three phases; Information phase, Knowledge phase, and Cultural Contents phase. The Knowledge phase is important to make the Cultural Contents have industrial influence and creative power.
This paper discussed Cultural Informatics which reorganizes existing information for knowledge discovery in Historical-Cultural Contents, and offered Human Relation Network as the solution. It considered people as the most important cultural factor of Historical-Cultural Contents, and organized network using the relationships between people. Three phases were suggested as the concrete method; Information Extraction, Human Relation Matrix, and Human Relation Network. Information Extraction collects information of people and relationships, and Human Relation Matrix establishes the position of extracted information. Then, Human Relation Network connects people and relationships arranged in the former phase using node and link.
Human Relation Network increases utilizing rate of existing Cultural Contents and supports producing new Cultural Contents. To consider knowledge discovery about Historical-Cultural Contents on the basis of Cultural Informatics or Human Relation Network would be the significant work.
역사문화콘텐츠는 한국의 역사와 문화에 대한 콘텐츠, 즉 역사적 정보로 구성된 디지털 콘텐츠이다. 역사문화콘텐츠는 문화콘텐츠의 소재로 주목 받아 왔지만 실제 산업적 영향력을 가진 콘텐츠로 적용되기에는 문제가 있다고 평가되어 왔다. 문화콘텐츠는 정보단계, 지식단계, 문화콘텐츠라는 세 단계를 거쳐 만들어진다. 문화콘텐츠가 산업적인 영향과 창조의 힘을 갖게 하려면, 지식 단계가 중요하다. 현재의 역사문화콘텐츠는 디지털화, 메타데이터 확장, 검색기능 강화와 같은 정보기술능력은 충분히 가지고 있지만, 이를 문화의 시각에서 고려하는 능력은 부족하다. 기술과 문화를 융합한 지식 단계가 상황 개선을 위해 필요하다.
이 논문은 역사문화콘텐츠의 지식 개발을 위해 기존 정보를 재구성하는 문화 정보학에 관해 논하였으며, 인물 관계 네트워크를 대안으로 제시했다. 이 논문은 인물을 역사문화콘텐츠의 가장 중요한 문화적 요인으로 보고, 인물들 사이의 관계를 이용하여 네트워크를 구성했다. 구체적 방법으로 정보추출, 인물 관계 매트릭스, 인물 관계 네트워크세 단계가 제시하였다. 정보추출은 사람과 관계에 대한 정보를 모으고, 인물 관계 매트릭스는 추출된 정보의 포지션을 설정한다. 그리고 인물 관계 네트워크는 앞 단계에서 정리된 사람들과 관계를 노드와 링크를 이용해서 연결한다.
인간관계네트워크는 기존 문화콘텐츠의 이용 빈도를 높이고 새로운 문화콘텐츠의 생산을 돕는다. 문화 정보학 즉, 인물 관계 네트워크를 기반으로 역사문화콘텐츠의 지식개발에 대해 고찰해보는 것은 중요한 작업이 될 것이다.
