Wideband planar monopole antennas having multiple band-notched characteristics are good candidates in future wireless systems. In order to remove the unwanted frequency, half wavelength U- or Inverse U- shaped slots are inserted in the interior of the antenna. Since the frequency notch band depends on the total length of slots, we can easily tune the notch band by controlling the slot length. Also, we can implement the multiband antennas from a wideband antenna using multiple U or Inverse U slots. We propose that two or four U-shaped slots is required on crossed planar monopole antenna which has improved the radiation pattern with regard to frequency. The band-notched characteristics of the proposed antennas having approximately 10dB degradation depth at the notch center frequency has been created.
복수 개의 대역 저지 특성을 갖는 광대역 평면형 모노폴 안테나는 미래 무선 통신 시스템에서 좋은 후보로 손꼽을 수 있다. 원하지 않는 주파수를 제거하기 위하여 반파장의 U 슬랏 혹은 역 U 슬랏을 안테나의 내부에 삽입된다. 주파수 노치 밴드는 슬랏의 전체 길이와 관계되기 때문에 슬랏 길이 조정으로 노치 밴드를 쉽게 조절할 수 있다. 또한, 복수 개의 U 슬랏 및 역U 슬랏을 사용하여 광대역 안테나로부터 멀티밴드 안테나를 구현할 수 있다. 주파수에 따른 방사 패턴를 개선하기 위해 십자 평면형 모노폴 안테나를 제안하고, 여기에 2개 혹은 4개의 U 슬랏을 삽입하여 노치 밴드가 형성하였다. 제안된 안테나의 대역 저지 특성은 노치 중심 주파수에서 10dB 감쇄 특성을 갖는다. 본 논문의 구성은 제 1장 서론에서 제안된 안테나의 설계 개념에 대해서 살펴 보고, 제 2장에서 광대역 안테나의 임피던스 정합을 위한 방법을 소개하였다. 광대역 평면형 모노폴 안테나가 갖는 변수에 대해서 제 3장에서 소개하였다.. 이러한 변수를 통한 최적의 안테나를 설계 및 구현하였다. 이를 통하여 제 4장과 제 5장에서 각각 2차원, 3차원의 형태로 구현될 수 있는 안테나에 대해서 제안하고, 결론지었다.
