The KOSPI200 Index option market was introduced on July 07 2007. Regardless of the late adoption, it became the most live market in the world if the trading volumn is considered. But were the option prices rationally priced?
We do not adobt the traditional option pricing model namely the Black-Scholes & Merton model. Instead, we use a new model which deals with the transaction cost and examine the rationality of the option pricing. We also investigate how the rationality of the pricing changes as the time goes.
