In this thesis we discuss the automorphy of congruent theta functions for the congruence group $\Gamma_0(N)$. For this we introduce spherical functions, modular forms, automorphic forms and the transformation formulas of congruent theta functions. Furthermore we apply the transformation formulas to the standard theta functions.
본 논문에서는 합동 씨타 함수가 $\Gamma_0(N)$에 관한 보형 함수임을 보인다. 이를 위해 구면함수, 보형함수 그리고 합동 씨타 함수의 변형 공식을 소개한다. 또한 변형 공식을 표준 씨타 함수에 적용하여 본다.
