In this paper we describe a physics-based method for fish swimming of labriform. Our method controls a realistic set of fin locomotion that makes a fish swim toward given target points. We model fish as an articulated skeleton with elastically controllable fin. The fin locomotion is created by applying observational data of bluegill fish. And joint torques and simplified fluid-dynamics over time in a forward dynamics simulation causes propulsion and moment forces that make fish swim and turn. We solve for each fin locomotion periodically by optimizing for fin parameters that control the natural fin locomotion. This detailed fish swimming simulation enables us to produce simulated swimming motions of labriform types. Our method can be expand to species of fish which have similar oscillatory fin motions such as diodontiform.
