This work presents the architecture of ATSC Terrestrial/Cable tuner which is highly competitive in the tuner market. Among the various receiver architectures, single conversion Zero-IF architecture is a viable candidate solution for low cost and low power.
We have proposed a new CMOS wide-band low noise amplifier (capacitor cross coupled common gate amplifier and source follower with MGTR) for tuner.
