Today the meaning of technology is getting more important in the business world. However it is also difficult to obtain competitive technology due to the rapid change of technology. Especially it is more difficult for the SMEs. In these changes, technology transfer attracts public attention for SMEs to get new competitive technology and for government policy makers to employ new policy for SMEs. However technology transfer is not activated yet due to the limitation of SMEs and the wrong policy, which does not reflect the specific factors of SMEs.
With that background, this, paper aims at the revealing what is the most salient endogenous variable and how exogenous variables affect endogenous variables. It follows the existing studies on the success factors of technology transfer. Technology transfer is divided in two steps. First one is the negotiation and contract step and second step is the substantial technology transfer step. The success of technology transfer is affected by successes of these two steps. The successes of these two steps are affected by endogenous variables such as technology transferee's characteristic, project's characteristic and relationship between transferee and transfer. And these variables are affected each other. This entire study was accomplished thought survey of SMEs.
As a result of this study, the proven variable could be used as strategy to make the technology transfer more successful and frame a government policy for SMEs.
오늘날 비즈니스 세계에서 기술의 의미는 점점 중요해지고 있다. 그러나 이와 함께 빠른 기술의 변호속도로 인해서 이것에 대응하기는 더욱 힘들어졌으며, 특히 중소기업의 경우 이러한 현상은 더욱 심하다고 할 수 있다. 이러한 시점에서 기술획득 방법 중 중요한 요소 중 하나인 기술이전에 대한 관심이 더욱 높아지고 있다. 하지만 국내 중소기업의 입장에서 기술이전은 그렇게 활성화 되고 있지 못하다. 이것은 국내 중소기업이 가지고 있는 한계에서 비롯되기도 하지만 최근의 관심과 이에 더불어 나오는 정부의 지원제도가 국내 중소기업의 기술이전 특성을 반영하고 있지 못한 것에도 기인한다고 할 수 있다.
이와 같은 현 시점에서 본 연구는 기술이전 성공에 있어서 내부적으로 내생되어 있는 잠재변수들의 관계를 파악하고 상호영향을 알아 보는데 목적이 있다. 이것을 위해 본 연구는 기존의 기술이전 성공요인에 대한 문헌을 고찰하였다. 본 연구에서는 기술이전을 협상과 계약 단계와 실제적으로 기술이 이전되는 단계로 구분을 하고 조직특성(기술도입자 특성)과 과업특성(기술이전 프로젝트의 특성) 그리고 도입자와 제공자의 상호관계를 중점으로 상호영향 관계를 파악 하였다. 본 연구를 위해 중소기업 대표자와 기술이전 담당자에게 설문을 실시하였으며, 설문은 온라인으로 진행이 되었다. 본 연구의 결과로 중소기업의 입장에서는 기술이전을 보다 성공적으로 진행하기 위한 전략을 제시하고 있으며, 정부의 지원기관에 있어서 보다 효율적인 지원제도를 제언하고 있다.
