The R.O.K. Army C4I system is currently being developed for the purpose of achieving data availability in the various stages from monitoring to blowing. The system can give immense information advantages, but it lacks of decision support functions for commanders’ decision making. The decision support functions are as follows: situation awareness, evaluating a threat and analyzing course of action in the battlefield. This thesis presents requirement analysis and architectural design of the Decision Support System for the Integrated Fire operation. Main contributions of our research are: (1) distinguishing the decision support functions for the Integrated Fire Operation, (2) analyzing decision making process and functions for the Integrated Fire Operation, (3) designing the Decision Support System architecture for the Integrated Fire Operation. The study results could be utilized for developing Decision Support System for the various military Command and Control process including the Intergrated Fire Operation
현재 육군 C4I 시스템은 감시체계로부터 타격체계에 이르기까지 다양한 단계에서 정보의 유용성을 달성하기 위하여 개발되고 있다. 현 시스템으로 정보의 우위를 달성할 수 있으나, 지휘관의 의사 결정을 지원할 수 있는 의사결정지원 기능은 부족하다. 의사결정 지원 기능은 전장에서 상황을 인식하고, 위협을 평가하며, 행동방책을 분석하는 기능이다. 이 논문에서는 통합화력운용 의사결정지원시스템 Architecture를 제안하고, 요구사항들을 분석하였다. 본 연구의 주요한 내용은 다음과 같다. (1) 통합화력운용 의사결정지원기능을 식별하고, (2) 통합화력운용 의사결정 프로세스를 분석하였고, 통합화력운용 의사결정지원 시스템 Architecture를 제안하였다. 본 연구 결과는 I통합화력운용을 포함하여 다양한 군 지휘통제 의사결정지원 시스템을 개발하는데 활용될 것이다.
