The purpose of this paper is to get the practical insight about Supply Chain Management by finding out differences on how to use the performance measurements on SCM between two companies whose characteristics of products are different.
Firstly, SCM performance measurement set was developed based on BSC perspectives.
Secondly, this set was applied to two companies - one with ‘functional product’ and another with ‘innovative product’. Difference of comparative importance of measurements between two companies was found and analyzed based on their supply chain strategy. Several factors of product characteristics which gives influence on SCM performance measurements were found.
Thirdly, measurements set was modified and proposed with options for ‘functional product’ or ‘innovative product’.
