Our study is to develop a guide to drawing up of COTS assurance packages and adaptation level to be capable of evaluating a core function and a security mechanism within comparatively short periods rather than to appraise all functions of evaluating products and improve security of COTS based system. In order to meet the requirements of evaluation systems, the contents of assurance packages which developer submits to evaluator must be fully described a security environment analysis, a core function and a security mechanism. Developer must exploit guidelines to drawing up of assurance packages so as to describe accurately these contents of assurance packages within comparatively short periods.
We accomplished comparison analysis of evaluation criteria per county in order to apply the development of a guide to drawing up of COTS assurance packages. And we developed a guide to drawing up of COTS assurance packages which developer submits to evaluator and guide of adaptation level.
