In a fully networked society, privacy is seriously endangered and cannot be sufficiently protected by privacy legislation or privacy of codes of conduct alone. So various privacy enhancing technologies are emerging to safeguard personal privacy by minimizing or eliminating the collection of identifiable data. Accordingly, this thesis provides an example to solve user`s privacy problem by using some useful privacy enhancing technologies, such as certificates technology and anonymous technology on PKI. The scenario of the user`s privacy problem is the following. Alice wants to use an adult entertainment web service without revealing any information against her privacy. For this, Alice uses Bank as a trusted proxy to pay the charge and to get a certificate of her adultness. The proposed authentication system guarantees Alice`s privacy by not revealing Alice`s identity. Moreover, the system satisfies the completeness and the soundness properties.
전 세계가 네트워크로 연결되는 현대 정보화 사회에서는 사생활이 심각하게 위협받을 수 있다. 하지만 사생활 보호법이나 사생활 보호 강령으로는 사생활을 충분히 보장 받을 수 없다. 그래서 신원이 들어나는 자료에 대한 수집을 최소화 하거나 못하도록 함으로써 사생활을 보장할 수 있도록 하는 암호학적 기술들이 필요하게 되었다. 따라서 이 논문에서는 사생활의 보장이 중요한 시나리오를 하나 만들고 공개키 기반의 인증서 기술, 익명성 기술과 같은 유용한 암호학적 기술들을 사용해서 사생활이 보장이 되는 인증 시스템을 설계하고 분석하였다. 시나리오는 다음과 같다. Alice는 Sam이 제공하는 성인사이트에 사용 요금을 지불하고 성인임을 증명한 뒤 이용 자격을 얻는다. 이때 Alice는 자신이 그러한 서비스를 이용한다는 사실을 남이 알 수 없도록 하고 싶다.
