Recently, wireless mobile communications has become popular due to their freedom. And the use of wireless communication moves to data communication because of recent performance advancements in computer and wireless technologies.
There are three approaches for wireless data communications between mobile hosts.
The first approach is to use a fixed network infrastructure like that access point. In this network, a mobile host communicates to network through an access point within its communication radius.
The second approach is an ad-hoc network among mobile hosts. In this network, mobile hosts act as a router to discovery and maintain routes to other nodes.
The third approach is the wireless access networks. In this networks, mobile hosts act as router and send packets to and receive packets from an access point.
In this thesis, we proposed an load-balanced routing for multi-hop access networks. This approach took access point neighbor’s load as route selection metric. This approach helps to reduce the average end-to end delay.
