In this paper, the development of a circularly polarized 8×8 array antenna for receiving satellite broadcasting using polyester based copper-clad laminate is presented. Two primary objectives of this development are reducing the cost of the antenna for receiving satellite broadcasting and simplifying the geometry of the antenna to fabricate easily. Analysis and designs are presented of single element antenna with truncated corner configuration and 8×8 array antenna. The measured results showed the directive gain of 28.2dBi(11.85GHz), power gain of 25.4dB(11.85GHz), 2.5% of 3dB axial ratio bandwidth, 19.2% and 15dB of C/N.
