A rotation number is an important property of a circle homeomorphism. the denjoy theorem and the poincare. theorem are the well known facts which relate to an irrational rotation number. It is known that an irrational rotation and a circle homeomorphism with an irrational rotation number have many common properties. we review properties of a rotation number of a circle homeomorphism, for example, Arnold tongues and the rotation function. we define a new rotation function and investigate its interesting properties.
회전지수는 원 동상사상에서 중요한 성질이다. Denjoy 정리와 poincare 정리는 무리수 회전지수에 관련된 사실 중에 잘 알려진 사실들이다. 무리수 회전지수를 갖는 원 동상사상과 무리수 회전은 많은 공통된 성질을 가짐이 알려져 있다. Arnold tongues 와 회전함수 등과 같은 원동상사상 회전지수의 성질에 대해 알아보고 새로운 회전함수를 정의해서 그 함수의 성질을 알아본다.
