The explosive growth of the Internet exposes unprecedented commmercial opportunities over the network. The vast computer networks easily bring together buyers and sellers with internet auction who are physically distributed in different continets. Current research in electronic commerce mainly focuses on payment mechnisms. However, the global presence of buyers and sellers makes it difficult to build trust among the parties involved in a transaction.
In this paper, I will develop a trust auction system for the customer network Internet community. It describes metrics and models for the measurement of trust variables and fuzzy verification of transactions. Trust metrics help preserve system availability by determing risk on transactions. Then I develop protocols for auction transaction. As measured trust, I suggest a suitable transaction protocol for trust action transaction. To test the appropriateness of the proposed trust auction system, a prototype system has been developed using Visual Basic which is also implemented fuzzy logic for trust measurement.
