There are many differences in service development process between voice service and wireless internet service. Wireless telecommunication operators could execute service development process by themselves to provide voice services. Howere wireless telecommunication operators may want to work in cooperation with contents providers to develop wireless internet services.
Most contents providers are small-scale businesses and don't make profits on wireless telecommunication services yet. Under the current circumstances, wireless telecommunication operators have to provide technical and financial support to the contents providers and also be involved in whole service development processes.
Through an empirical analysis of wireless telecommunication operators and contents providers, two major analyses were done.
First, it was found that contents providers need consulting with wireless telecommunication operators. This shows that wireless telecommunication operators have to execute consultation to the contents providers through the whole service development processes.
Second, it was found that wireless telecommunication operators have to evaluate the quality of contents providers through the measurement, evaluation and feedback routine. Based on the results of measurement, evaluation and feedback routine, wireless telecommunication operators should support contents providers.
