Recently, data traffic generated by Web service or Internet access has been severely increasing and CDMA/TDD system is proposed as one candidate system for supporting that traffic which strongly biased to downlink. In this paper, we propose and analyze AD(resource allocation based on Area Division) scheme for CDMA/TDD system.
AD scheme divides cell area into several sections and schedules transmitting sequence of each section with considering interferences occurred by other BSs and MSs. Applying AD scheme, inter-cell and intra-cell interferences are reduced and total system capacity is increased. And traffic asymmetry between uplink and downlink is supported effectively through dynamic time slots and codes allocation.
Interference and link capacity are analyzed and compared by computer simulation. And we conclude that link quality and total capacity are improved in case that proposed AD resource allocation scheme is applied to CDMA/TDD system.
