In this thesis, a fast code acquisition scheme for a direct sequence code division multiple access (DS/CDMA) system is proposed. Based on the sequential estimation scheme using a majority logic decoder, the proposed scheme adds a verifier to the majority logic decoder, improving the reliability of an initial state estimate. We drive the probability of finding a correct initial state estimate and show that the proposed scheme can reduce the average number of chips for acquisition compared with the conventional scheme in the moderate SNR region.
이 논문에서는 직접수열 부호분할 다중접속 시스템에서 쓸 수 있는 빠른 부호 획득 방법을 제안하였다. 제안한 방법은 과반수 복호기를 쓰는 순차 추정 방법에 검정기를 덧붙임으로써 의사 잡음 발생기의 초기 상태를 보다 정확하게 추정할 수 있다. 먼저 초기 상태를 정확하게 추정할 수 있는 확률을 계산한 다음, 제안한 방법이 지금까지의 방법에 견주어서 알맞은 신호 대 잡음비 영역에서 부호 획득 시간을 줄일 수 있음을 보였다.
