In the situation that many organizations begin knowledge management with implementing knowledge management systems, many researchers have studied various affecting factors about knowledge sharing behaviors and knowledge management systems utilization. But, most of their measurements are often perceptual or just the time using the systems. So this study is on factors affecting knowledge sharing behaviors through knowledge management systems especially based on fact data not on perceptual data.
The purpose of this study is to examine knowledge sharing behaviors in knowledge management systems and find affecting factors about them. I defined knowledge registration and knowledge viewing as the behaviors in explicit knowledge context from knowledge management process diagram and develop 2 dependent variables based on fact data. A research model was established with 7 affecting factors, so that 14 hypotheses were proposed.
For the hypotheses testing, 21 organization samples which include 165 individual samples were collected. Finally, both knowledge registration and knowledge viewing were strongly affected by learning-orientation in the results of multiple regression analysis and a few more affecting factors were significant in the results of correlation analysis.
본 연구는 기업들의 지식경영에 대한 관심 고조와 함께 지식관리시스템 구축을 통한 지식경영 추진이 보편화되고 있는 시점에서, 지식관리시스템을 이용한 지식공유행위가 무엇인지 파악하고, 이에 영향을 미치는 요인에는 무엇이 있는지 파악하기 위한 목적으로 시작되었다.
연구모형 수립을 위해서 지식관리시스템 내에서의 지식관리프로세스를 세분화하고 지식공유행위를 지식등록과 지식조회, 지식검색, 지식원천연결로서 정의한 후에, 최종적인 종속변수로서 지식등록활성과 지식조회활성을 선택하고, 이에 영향을 미치는 독립변수로서 조직의 학습지향성, 지식공유압력, 최고경영자지원, 지식등록보상, 정보기술경험, 시스템성능, 지식품질을 설정하여 연구모형을 수립하였다.
연구모형을 통해 제시된 14개의 가설을 검증하기 위해서 국내 지식경영 기업 21개로부터 21개의 사실데이터와 165개의 설문데이터를 수집하고, 이를 상관관계분석과 다중회귀분석 기법에 의해 분석하였다.
상관관계분석결과 지식등록활성에는 학습지향성, 지식공유압력, 최고경영자지원 변수가 상관관계를 갖고, 지식조회활성과는 학습지향성, 지식공유압력, 최고경영자지원에 덧붙여 지식품질이 상관관계를 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 다중회귀분석 결과로는 지식등록활성과 지식조회활성 모두 학습지향성 변수 하나로만 설명되는 결과가 도출되었다.
